On this hunt, your challenge is to isolate the bison you want, making a careful, accurate shot while ensuring the safety of the herd. Unlike traditional elk or deer hunts, bison hunting requires tactical planning, just as it did for early buffalo hunters.
Bison can be unpredictable, sometimes charging hunters or vehicles, so safety is a priority. Once your bison is down, we’ll use a winch trailer to assist in field dressing and skinning, after which you can either take your bison as it is or have it delivered to a meat processor. You’ll keep the head, hide, and meat.
